Expanding on his one-on-one executive coaching, Michael collaborates with organization boards and other key groups to explore purpose collectively. He facilitates group engagement sessions and workshops that encourage the tough questions, foster candid discussion, push participants to challenge the status quo all to move organizations and those they support to a better place.
Service in action:
When the Anheuser-Busch Foundation approached Michael for support, they wanted help connecting high school principals and college presidents with the Corporate Social Responsibility division of Anheuser-Busch to combat underage drinking. Under Michael’s leadership the “It’s Your Choice” online toolkit was launched at the National Association of High School Resource Officers (NASRO) annual conference for use by high schools and colleges. It included an issue framing document, a series of case studies highlighting examples of successful high school and college efforts to combat underage drinking, and videos to bring the work to life. Michael also created a national high school assembly program to raise awareness and drive the important messages home. The launch kicked off a national movement resulting in Michael speaking to more than two million teenagers over ten years and the toolkit has been heralded as one of the most successful corporate social responsibility programs in Anheuser-Busch history.
